In 2006, RITHS obtained progression agreement with the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

In 2009, RITHS obtained Recognition from the Northumbria University, UK. 

In 2010, RITHS obtained progression opportunity from the University of Gloucestershire, UK. 

In 2010, RITHS obtained Recognition from the Southampton Solent University, UK.

In 2011, RITHS obtained permission from the Government of Meghalaya to establish RAJITLAL UNIVERSITY in Meghalaya. RAJITLAL UNIVERSITY BILL 2011 passed by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on 15th September 2011.

In 2012, RAJITLAL UNIVERSITY (Amendment) BILL 2012 passed by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on 7th September 2012.

RAJITLAL UNIVERSITY, MEGHALAYA is expected to start functioning from  2018.
