TEACHING METHODOLOGY :-  The teaching methodology at RITHS College emphasizes the importance of learning through direct experience.  This is because in a world where organizations and markets are constantly changing, academic qualifications and technical skills are only a part of the picture.  What is more important is having acquired the necessary education, graduates and postgraduates must make a successful transition from education to employment and know how to manage their career effectively.

                A combination of teaching-supervised and teacher-independent learning activities at individual and group levels are integrated into the learning system such that students are optimally involved in assessment of their own progress through faculty and peer feedback.

                Our students, once they pass out, they will be an independent professional in their field. No doubt, we are training them as a professional right from their first year of study!

INDEPENDENT LEARNING :-  Assignment activity forms the cornerstone of student-led learning.  From conceiving, planning and researching an activity to implementing and reflecting on actual experiences all  students employ a vast range of creative tools which serve to expand their range of communicative and managerial skills.  Field studies, data gathering, laboratory activities, case studies, work-based assignments, seminars, presentations, group discussions all form part of a students learning process.

ROLE OF THE RITHS TUTOR :- The role to the RITHS tutor is to put in place systems that encourage probing, questioning and challenging established concepts until self-learning becomes reflex action and second nature.

LIBRARIES & STUDY MATERIALS :-  Our libraries house a collection of text and reference materials for all courses conducted by RITHS. The study materials are regularly supplied by us to our students. All students have direct access to Library resources and internet facilities.

COMPUTER LABS :-  Computer Laboratories equipped with Internet access and latest software constitute an integral part of our campus.  We provide a network of Pentium machines adequately matched and supported by a host of printers, scanners, modems and other peripherals. A large amount of space is dedicated for students to learn independently in a stimulating environment.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES :-   RITHS provides transport facilities to our students from various model points to our campus as per the requirement of the students.             

SCHOLARSHIPS :- RITHS provides ADVOCATE PUSHPANGADAN MEMORIAL scholarships for meritorious students from financially backward classes to pursue their educational dreams.

ADMISSION SCHEDULE :- The new intake of students are scheduled in  JUNE and DECEMBER every year. As we follow semester system the examinations are scheduled in JUNE and DECEMBER every year. The new admissions to June batch will be available till September and December batch will be available till March, subject to the availability of prescribed seats allotted by the University.

CARRYOVER SYSTEM :- Most of all the courses have carry over facility, so as the student will be automatically admitted to the next semester irrespective of the examination result. The student need only to complete the failed papers along with the next semester examinations.

HOW TO WIN AN ADMISSION AT RITHS

Those who seeks admission to RITHS for any graduate or postgraduate courses shall apply in the prescribed application form, available at our Campus or Office and to appear for a Common Entrance Examination and a personal interview. Successful candidates are chosen on the basis of academic achievements to the course of their choice. We believe in supporting talent and higher education in every sphere of life. Scholarships are awarded under our special consideration scheme to meritorious students from financially backward community.
